Xiaomi today posted an image on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, with the numbers ‘2>5’ possibly hinting towards the Mi Note 2. Since the Mi Note series has been more powerful than the Mi series (Mi Note powerful than the Mi4) Xiaomi could possibly be teasing the next iteration for the Mi Note.
The image includes the equation ‘2>5’ possibly hinting towards the Mi Note 2 being more powerful and robust than the company’s current flagship, the Xiaomi Mi 5. The caption on the image which roughly translates to ‘Love it, no one lose’ is a very bold statement, and is very surprising to see the company mock it’s own product.
Although no official announcement date or the existence of the product have not been confirmed by Xiaomi there has been a massive leak of the phone renders which indicated a dual-camera arrangement along with a fingerprint scanner on the phone. The specs from previous leaks are, 5.7? 2K Display, Qualcomm’s Smapdragon 820 Quad-Core processor, 4GB RAM, and 32 / 64GB Internal Memory, 12MP front camera and 23MP Rear Camera, and to power all of this a 3,500mAh battery which has support for Qualcomm Quick Charging. Since the Snapdragon 820 chipset is available now, the phone seems to be very interesting from leaks. We have to wait and see what Xiaomi has in store later this fall.
