Lollipop sporting ZTE Overture 2 arrives on Cricket for just $50

ZTE Overture 2The successor to the ZTE Overture, which was launched back in June 2013, is now available in the US on Cricket Wireless. Dubbed Overture 2, the device is priced at $49.99 on contract – you can also get it for free thanks to a $50 mail-in rebate.

Specs-wise, the handset is powered by a quad-core chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz, and sports a 4.5-inch display with a 854 x 480 (FWVGA) resolution. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card), and packs in a 2100 mAh battery.

In terms of camera, the Overture 2 features a 5MP rear unit and a VGA front shooter. It also offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, as well as support for Dolby Digital Plus.
