What’s worth mentioning here is that this figure is for a single retailer (JD.com) – the device will also be available through Vmall and six other Chinese retailers – so the actual number is likely much higher.
Keep in mind that number of registrations is just an indication of the level of interest. As no money changes hands in this process, you shouldn’t confuse registrations with pre-orders.
