Huawei Honor 7 specs confirmed by leaked screenshot

Huawei honor 7 specs confirmed by leaked screenshotThe pieces of the Huawei Honor 7 puzzle are slowly coming together. After rumors hinted at the existence of two variants of the new model in terms of hardware, a screenshot now comes close to confirming the internals of least one of those.

The single image comes from a device with a model number PLK-AL10, which we already know is the new Honor 7. The device comes with a HiSilicon (read Huawei) Kirin 935 chipset and 4GB of RAM. Base storage is 64GB, and both round numbers indicate that it’s merely text, typed in a field, rather than the device’s estimation of actual capacities. Rumors so far have hinted at another version of the device, which will come with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.Huawei honor 7 specs confirmed by leaked screenshot

Display resolution is stated to be 1,080 x 1,920 pixels, which is just what previous reports have claimed. However, there’s no solid info on screen diagonal to support the current consensus, which has settled on 5 inches.

At least we know that the device will boot Android 5.1 upon launch, naturally with Huawei’s own EmotionUI on top, in its 3.1 version.

The higher-specced version is expected to become available in July at CNY 2,499 to 2,699 (~$400 to $435). The more affordable option should be released later this month for CNY 1,999 or roughly $320.
