HTC has introduced two dual SIM smartphones – Desire 820G+ and Desire 626G+ – in Taiwan. Both new smartphones pack similar hardware but have different screen sizes and a few other minor differences.
These new smartphones will be sold by HTC along with the local carriers in Taiwan. Both smartphones run HTC Sense UI 6.0 based on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.
The Desire 626G+ packs a 5” 720p HD display powered with the same MediaTek MT6592 chipset tagging 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board storage. It has a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. This device too packs a 2600 mAh battery.
HTC will sell the Desire 626G+ for TWD 4,990 ($162) and the Desire 826G+ for TWD 5,990 ($194). Source
