ZTE Zmax Pro 6-inch display for only $99, Snapdragon 617

ZTE Zmax ProZTE announced the third device in its Zmax line and the successor to the Zmax 2 from last year. It’s called Zmax Pro and will be sold in the US by MetroPCS.

In ZTE’s view, the Zmax Pro will have two main competitors in the market: the Samsung Galaxy J7 and the LG Stylo 2. The Zmax Pro, however, “is simply the one to beat” according to the Chinese company, because it matches or outclasses both in specs while being a lot cheaper than either of those. (more…)

ZTE unveils the Nubia N1 in China

Nubia N1Most Chinese manufacturers aren’t too vocal when it comes to releases on the local market and rightfully so, as otherwise, we would find ourselves in even deeper trouble with confusing naming schemes and localized variants then we already are. This is likely why ZTE didn’t make that much fuss about the new Nubia N1 handset, unveiled today for the Chinese market.

The device offers solid mid-range specs, including a 5.5-inch FullHD LCD with a pixel density of 441ppi, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, all sittingaround the MediaTek Helio P10 SoC. (more…)

ZTE nubia Z11 with Snapdragon 820 and 6GB of RAM is official now

ZTE nubia Z11 3It’s finally the day when the ZTE nubia Z11 becomes official. Today at an event in China the company unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, and the last member in the Z11 family which already comprised the Z11 mini and the Z11 Max.

Unlike those two, however, the Z11 comes with true flagship-level specs all-round (with one glaring omission – a QHD touchscreen).

The phone has an all-metal construction and a nearly bezelless display, both things that are guaranteed to catch the eye of the prospective smartphone shopper. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset, aided by either 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, or a whopping 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal space. Leaked Max images and specs from TENAA ZTE Nubia Z11 and Z11

ZTE Nubia Z11ZTE has officially announced just one member of the Nubia Z11 family, namely the Z11 Mini (which got official in April). But it looks like the company is busy working on two additional Z11-branded phones, which should be unveiled in the near future.

Both of these have recently been certified for sale in China by TENAA, that country’s FCC equivalent. And like always in these cases, that means we’re treated to a few pictures of each device, along with a list of their most important specs. (more…)

ZTE Blade D2 is a new 4000 mAh budget offer for Thailand and Vietnam

ZTE Blade D2ZTE enriched its device lineup today with a new budget-friendly offer – the ZTE Blade D2. The handset’s definitive feature is the spacious 4,000 mAh battery pack, which should provide ample autonomy for the otherwise not so power-hungry hardware. It is housed withing a relatively compact plastic body, measuring 144 x 69.5 x 8mm and weighing in at 155 grams.

The Blade-T620, as it is officially called, has a 5-inch HD IPS LCD display and is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6735P SoC, clocked at 1.0 GHz. Memory is set at 1GB and built-in storage is 8GB. There is also a microSD card slot for up to 64GB expansion. (more…)
