Nougat for Verizon HTC 10 will roll out starting March 30

If you are an HTC 10 owner on Verizon, and are waiting for the Nougat update, you’ll be glad to know the roll out is imminent. The company has announced that the update will start rolling out on March 30.

The announcement came in the form of a tweet from HTC’s VP of Product Management Mo Versi.

LG G6 gets its first TV commercial just as Samsung is about to unveil the S8

In less than 24 hours, Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+ will finally be official, following dozens of leaks that came out over the past few weeks. After that moment, we’re expecting the Korean company to start a full-on marketing assault across the world, since it needs the S8 duo to break sales records – especially seeing as how its other high-end devices aren’t doing very well.

Samsung pushes new software update to Gear S3, many new features on board

Samsung’s latest smartwatches are now in the process of receiving a new software update. Arriving as build R770XXU2BQC5 or R760XXU2BQC5 depending on whether you have the Gear S3 classic or frontier, the new release comes with quite a few new features.

New Date and Music complications can be added to watch faces, there’s a new auto-refresh feature for altitude, and customizable pace-coaching and HR zone info for running have made their way into S Health. S Voice now lets you set a date and time when creating a reminder, and News Briefing has an improved UI. Find My Device gets a new option…

Facebook launches 24-hour Stories and camera effects in its main mobile app

So far, Facebook has aped Snapchat’s Stories in Instagram, WhatsApp, and even Messenger. So it makes sense that the main Facebook app for mobile platforms wouldn’t be able to escape the Stories invasion either. And in fact it hasn’t.

Today the social network is announcing Facebook Stories. Yes, that’s Snapchat Stories inside Facebook. They will be displayed like on Instagram, above your News Feed. ZTE is unveiling a new nubia device on April 6

The nubia Z17 mini didn’t get unveiled last week despite many rumors claiming it would be the star of the March 21 event for ZTE’s sub-brand. On that occasion, the Chinese company outed the nubia M2, M2 Lite, and N2 instead.

However the nubia Z17 mini could still be in the works. Today ZTE sent out invites for yet another nubia event, this one taking place on April 6. The image accompanying the invite (which you can see on the left) has a design that strongly hints at a dual rear camera system for the handset that will become official next month.
