For the uninitiated, the SD823 chipset is the same as the S820 model, except that the quad-core Kryo CPU will run on a higher clock.
The rumor says the new variant will be available in certain Asian markets – including Philippines and India – in the month of August. There was, however, no word on exactly how much the device will cost. The standard ZenFone 3 Deluxe, in case you don’t already know, starts at $499.
Aside from the ZenFone 3 Deluxe, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 (or Note 7 according to latest reports), the rumored HTC Mini, Mi Note 2, and Nubia X8 are all said to be powered by the Snapdragon 823 chipset as well.
