Samsung Galaxy S7 units in India have started receiving a new update. Weighing in at around 100MB, it’s a security update that brings Android fixes for February. The ‘security patch level’ now shows 1 February 2017.
While there’s no confirmation on whether the Galaxy S7 edge is also receiving the latest security patch, we don’t see any reason why that won’t be the case. This update comes shortly after the Galaxy S6 started receiving the February update in the country.
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S8 flagship has already leaked in live images but we really can’t get too many of those. Today a couple of new images show the upcoming Galaxy S8 from both front as well as back, but wrapped in a case.
The new images align nicely with previous leaks, showing the same bezel-free design and single camera on the back with a fingerprint sensor next to it.

LeEco has pushed out a new update to its Le Pro3 and Le S3 smartphones. It’s a major update that an app drawer, improved camera performance, and some additional enhancements.
The newly-added app drawer is located in the apps dock, just above the ‘home’ button.
Coming to the camera improvements, the Le S3 can now take batter pictures in low-light situations.
The Le Pro3, on the other hand, now features improved HDR functionality. The company claims that now it’s even faster to capture and process HDR photos on the phone.

Google’s Messenger app has received a new update. While in terms of functionality, there aren’t any major changes, what’s news-worthy is that the Mountain View, California-based company has changed the name of the app.
The app is now called Android Messages. “A new name! Messenger is now Android Messages, the messaging app built for Android,” the change-log for the update says.
