Galaxy S8 to have of 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage

Galaxy Note78With the Note7’s discontinuation, Samsung will be on everyone’s watch with high expectations of the company’s next flagship device: the Samsung Galaxy S8. And although we haven’t seen any leaks of the hardware, the rumor mill has been churning out lots of news with no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Some new rumors deciphered by TechTastic on Weibo suggest that the Galaxy S8 will feature a 256GB storage option. And it’s not yet known if this is intended to be a standard size or larger storage option. The S8 is also rumored to come with 6GB of RAM, a good decision considering even the Galaxy S7 suffered from TouchWiz jank every now and then. (more…)

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro in Black color leaked

samsung-galaxy-c9-proSamsung unveiled the Galaxy C9 Pro last month. The device – which is currently only available in China – comes in just two colors: Gold and Pink Gold. However, looks like that’s soon going to change as a new image has leaked, allegedly showing the black colored variant of the device.

To refresh, the Galaxy C9 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 653 SoC, and sports a 6-inch HD display. RAM is 6GB, while internal memory is 64GB. In terms of camera, the device features a 16MP rear and a 16MP front shooter. A large, 4,000mAh battery is there to keep the lights on.

Xiaomi Mi 6 in March with Snapdragon 835 chipset

xiaomi-mi-note-26This definitely feels a bit like deja vu. Remember how yesterday a rumor from China claimed the Oppo Find 9 would launch in March with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 on board? Well, that got debunked in the meantime, but apparently there’s another Chinese smartphone that will actually be out in March sporting Qualcomm’s latest and greatest. (more…)

OnePlus 3T will be cheaper in China?

oneplus-3tWhen the OnePlus 3T was announced last week, its US and European pricing information was revealed – the device will carry $439 and $479 price tag for the 64GB and 128GB variants, respectively, in the US, while in the EU the prices will be €439 and €479, respectively.

Now, a new rumor has revealed the expected price tag the handset will carry in China. (more…)

HTC 10 evo known as HTC Bolt is now official

htc-boltAs promised, HTC held an event in Taiwan today and just like most rumors suggested, it was the stage for the international release of the HTC Bolt.

On the international scene, the device will use the HTC 10 evo moniker. Other than that, nothing appears to have changed on the handset. You get a metal unibody phone, measuring 153.6 x 77.3 x 8.1 mm and weighing in at 174 grams. It is equipped with a 5.5-inch, QHD, Super LCD 3 panel, with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on top. (more…)
